At first, I was just trying to start a business. Everybody kept saying, “Build something of your own, get out of the 9–5.” So I figured... maybe a plant store. Simple enough.
But the more I started creating this site, the more I realized… I was smiling while doing it because I was beginning to realize just how much potential this had. I started adding pieces that had nothing to do with selling plants and everything to do with what I was feeling. It slowly turned into something I needed.
And I thought… if I needed something like this, maybe someone else does too.
That’s what Introverted Black Girls is.
A space to figure it out. To breathe. To create something that feels good. To grow at your own pace. There are still so many more aspects I want to add, but with time!
Created with Intention
These journals were created out of my love for writing and self-discovery — a place to reflect, ask the deeper questions, and uncover parts of yourself often left untouched.

Inspired by those guided prompt books I used to find at Barnes & Noble, I wanted to make something more intentional. Something with questions I wish someone had asked me, with soft guidance and notes throughout to help you feel seen. These are part journal, part workbook — created to hold your story, one page at a time.

From My Life
Life, Growth & Real TalkThis is where I share the unfiltered stuff — the lessons I’m learning, the moments I’m healing from, and the random thoughts that don’t always have a home. It’s part journal, part conversation. If you’ve ever felt like you’re figuring it out one hard day at a time, this space is for you.

Writing Through It
The Art of JournalingJournaling has always been more than just writing — it’s how I sort through emotions, reconnect with myself, and find clarity when everything feels loud. In this section, I’ll share tips, prompts, reflections, and ways to turn journaling into a daily ritual that feels like home.

The Cost of Awareness
Woke Too EarlyWaking up before the world is ready. This blog dives into the weight of consciousness: emotional labor, generational patterns, capitalism, burnout, and all the things we carry. It’s honest, vulnerable, and written for the ones who think too much and feel even more.
Vlog COMING SOON!
I’ve spent a lot of time quietly observing life, but now I want to start capturing it. From the food I eat to the streets I walk, this is me learning to share the beauty in the everyday. It’s healing in motion, a personal love letter to growth, New Orleans, and wherever else life takes me.
Music Playlists for Every Vibe
Music is powerful — it shapes our moods, our energy, and even how we see ourselves. The songs we put on repeat aren’t just background noise; they become part of us. That’s why I believe your playlists should reflect who you are and who you’re becoming. It’s all energy. And it all matters.

You're Not Alone Here!
I’ve been thinking a lot about how hard it is to feel seen without feeling exposed. Like… I want to share more, connect more, but the internet makes it weird. You either say too much or nothing at all. I don’t want to curate my feelings. I just want somewhere to put them. Somewhere quiet, but still connected.
That’s what I’m trying to build here. A space for the thoughts you don’t post. The questions that don’t have clear answers. The stuff you journal about and then wonder if anyone else ever feels the same. I want it to feel like a conversation — soft, honest, no pressure to perform. Like a Reddit.. but way more more organized lol.
It’s not ready yet, but it’s coming. And when it’s here, I hope it feels like something you didn’t even know you needed.
